Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup (1-1/2 stick) butter, at room temperature
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-1/2 cups all-purpose-flour
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Sprinkles to decorate
- Chocolate Syrup
- 1 Baking Sheet
Preparation:
- Put the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt into a bowl and mix.
- In an electric mixer beat at high speed the sugar and butter for 2 minutes; add egg and vanilla, continue beating for 1 minute. Then, mix in the dry ingredients, beating at low speed for 3 minutes.
- Scoop out 12 equal-sized mounds on an ungreased baking sheet about 6cm apart. Do not flatten them.
- Bake at 350 ° F. for 10 minutes, testing with a cake tester to make sure it comes out semi-clean and not wet with the cookie batter.
- Put them in a plate and cool for 5 minutes.
- Pour chocolate syrup and sprinkles on top of each cookie.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Oven time: 30 minutes (12 cookies per sheet)
