Easy Chocolate Cake

  • 2 cups all purpose-flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2/3 cup salted butter
  • 1 2/3 cups white sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degress F.
  2. Prepare the cake pan with flour and chocolate, after oiling.  I used 8 inch round.
  3. Sift the flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder into the bowl and mix until combined.
  4. Beat butter, sugar and add the eggs one by one.
  5. In another bowl, combine cocoa, milk and vanilla with the sifted dry ingredients, beginning and ending with flour.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35 minutos until a cake tester come out clean.  After this time, remove the cake from the oven.  Cool in the pan for 30 minutes, then turn it out.
  7. You can decorate the cake, sprinkling over a little powdered sugar or placing on top a heart cookie cutter with powdered sugar.
